Moku arises from the blend of simple, functional Scandinavian design, married with the principles of Japanese philosophy. Moku represents a way of life, a philosophy that values slowing down and intentionality in an age of constant movement and fast-paced living.

In the early stages of the project, we embarked on a deep dive into Moku's brand to gain a comprehensive understanding of the market, the competition, and the customer experience. Our goal was to identify Moku's unique strengths and opportunities and build a strategy that would help them differentiate themselves from their competitors.

Through a series of strategy workshops with the whole team, we were able to establish Moku's mission statement, vision, business objectives, and values. We identified their brand archetype, designed their messaging, and created their tagline. Our approach was to position the brand as an approachable high-end, conscious furniture and lifestyle brand with a focus on slow-living and a blend of Japanese and Scandinavian design. By working collaboratively with Moku, we helped them refine their brand positioning and messaging, and refresh their visual identity. As a result, Moku is poised to increase brand recognition among their target audience, stand out from competitors, and create a memorable brand experience that resonates with customers.

By differentiating themselves as a high-end, conscious furniture and lifestyle brand, Moku can appeal to a discerning target audience, resulting in increased sales and revenue. We achieved this by identifying a gap in the market and positioning Moku as a brand that embodies quality craftsmanship, sustainability, and intentional living. To visually communicate Moku's values and brand positioning, we refreshed their visual identity. We helped Moku by refreshing their logo design, creating a new color scheme, and selecting typefaces that reflected their values and vision. Our aim was to create a visual language that was both timeless and modern.

We designed a complete custom-made webshop for Moku that was aligned with their brand and visual identity. We improved the SEO score on the WooCommerce platform and implemented our custom-made design on a highly customizable WordPress WooCommerce. The webshop was designed to enhance the customer experience, while also reflecting the brand's new positioning and visual identity.

In addition to the customer-facing elements, we also took great care to optimize Moku's website for search engines. This included naming all the photos, meta descriptions, meta-data and alt texts to be SEO-friendly. We also resized, optimized and restructured the images for the web, reducing the loading time considerably. These optimizations have helped increase Moku's online visibility, resulting in increased organic traffic and higher search engine rankings. By taking a holistic approach to Moku's online presence, we were able to create a website that not only looks great but also performs exceptionally well in search engines, further enhancing Moku's online presence and ultimately driving more sales.

Our collaboration with Moku resulted in a revived and redefined brand that resonateS with their target audience and emphasizes their values of quality craftsmanship, sustainability, and intentional living. The new brand positioning and visual identity helped Moku differentiate itself from its competitors and appeal to a discerning target audience. The new e-commerce website and SEO improved the user experience, resulting in increased traffic, longer time spent on the site, and higher conversion rates. With a new brand identity and custom-made webshop, Moku is now well-positioned for future growth and success in the high-end furniture and lifestyle market.
